Cebu Pacific Boosts Iloilo Flights and Fleet in December 2025; Fares Remain Low

Cebu Pacific Iloilo frequencies showing December increases to Manila, Cebu and more

Iloilo City, Philippines – In a major boost for local and national travelers, Cebu Pacific (the Philippines’ leading budget airline) today announced a host of new promotions and services at an Iloilo media roundtable (Park Inn Hotel, September 24, 2025). Highlights include a much-anticipated P88 one-way base fare promo for flights to select Visayas and Mindanao destinations, and the launch of seven-times-weekly A330neo flights between Manila and Iloilo starting October 26, 2025. These announcements, plus updates on fleet growth and route expansion, underline Cebu Pacific’s commitment to serving Iloilo and beyond.

Seat Sale Promo: Fly Visayas & Mindanao from P88

Cebu Pacific unveiled a new seat sale offering rock-bottom fares to key destinations in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. Under the promo, travelers can book one-way fares starting at PHP 88 base fare (exclusive of taxes and fees) on selected domestic routes. The sale is open from September 24 to 30, 2025, for travel on flights scheduled between January 1 and June 30, 2026. Cebu Pacific marketing executives emphasized that this limited-time deal makes it easier than ever for passengers to plan affordable trips during the first half of next year. Routes included in the sale cover popular Visayas and Mindanao destinations—providing a huge incentive for locals and tourists alike to explore more of the Philippines at bargain rates.

New A330neo Service: Manila–Iloilo 7x Weekly

Another centerpiece of the announcements is the introduction of Airbus A330neo aircraft on the Manila–Iloilo route. Starting October 26, 2025, Cebu Pacific will operate flight 5J 459 (Manila to Iloilo, 7:05 PM–8:35 PM) and 5J 460 (Iloilo to Manila, 9:55 PM–11:25 PM) seven times weekly. The new A330neo service effectively doubles the existing Manila–Iloilo frequency, making Cebu Pacific the first Philippine carrier to offer twice-daily widebody flights between the two cities. Company executives noted that the A330neo’s larger capacity and modern amenities will greatly benefit the increasing passenger demand on this key route. This upgrade not only provides more seats and improved comfort for travelers, but also signals Cebu Pacific’s confidence in the growing Iloilo market.

Fleet Expansion: 100 Strong, Asia-Pacific’s A330neo Leader

Cebu Pacific also marked a significant fleet milestone: it is now the first Philippine carrier to reach a 100-aircraft fleet. Among these are 12 Airbus A330neos, making Cebu Pacific Asia-Pacific’s largest A330neo operator. The airline announced plans to take delivery of four additional A330neos by year-end 2025, boosting its A330neo count to 14. This aggressive fleet expansion reflects Cebu Pacific’s strategy to grow capacity and modernize its operations. On hand at the roundtable, company executives pointed out that these fuel-efficient widebodies will serve key international and domestic trunk routes, improving Cebu Pacific’s competitive edge as a budget airline in the region.

Leading the Philippine Aviation Market

During the Iloilo briefing, Cebu Pacific’s representatives reiterated the airline’s status as the Philippines’ leading carrier. As of September 2025, Cebu Pacific flies to 37 domestic destinations and 26 international destinations, covering a total of 123 routes with about 410 daily flights. The airline’s extensive network connects all major Philippine islands and key cities abroad. Cebu Pacific’s officials highlighted that this broad network is unmatched by any other Philippine carrier, reinforcing its position as the go-to budget airline for both local travelers and overseas visitors.

The airline also reported robust year-on-year growth: systemwide seat capacity rose by 11%, from 2.16 million seats in September 2024 to 2.39 million seats in September 2025. Similarly, total flight departures grew by 13%, from roughly 11,000 flights in September 2024 to 13,000 in September 2025. These gains in capacity and frequency demonstrate strong passenger demand and Cebu Pacific’s efforts to meet it.

Cebu Pacific has announced an increase in flight frequencies from Iloilo to several key domestic and international destinations, effective between September and December.

For domestic routes, Manila will see the biggest jump, from 46 weekly flights in September to 57 by December. Cebu flights will also grow from 14 to 25 per week. Additional flights will be added for Davao, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, and Puerto Princesa to accommodate rising demand during the peak holiday season.

Other routes, including Bohol, Zamboanga, Tacloban, and Dumaguete, will also see more flights. Clark and Legazpi, meanwhile, will maintain their regular schedules.

On the international side, Iloilo–Hong Kong flights will increase from three to four times weekly, while flights to Singapore and Bangkok remain steady.

The move highlights Cebu Pacific’s effort to strengthen connectivity for Iloilo and nearby provinces, providing more travel options as the holiday season approaches.

Cebu Pacific emphasized that it remains the largest airline serving Iloilo City. The airline currently offers frequent connections linking Iloilo to key domestic hubs and nearby international markets.

Cebu Pacific representatives underlined that the expanded Manila–Iloilo service will benefit Iloilo travelers with more evening flight options, while maintaining critical domestic and ASEAN connections. In particular, the stable schedules to Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok help support Iloilo’s position as a growing gateway for both tourism and business travel.

Budget Travel Soars in Iloilo

The announcements from Cebu Pacific’s media roundtable paint a positive picture for Iloilo’s aviation future. With its 100-aircraft fleet, expanding A330neo network, and aggressive seat sale promos, Cebu Pacific is doubling down on its role as the region’s Philippines budget airline leader. For Ilonggo travelers and visitors, the combination of ultra-low fares (from P88!) and more frequent flights means easier and cheaper access to more destinations. As Cebu Pacific’s Iloilo operation continues to grow, residents and tourists can look forward to more routes, more seats, and more travel opportunities connecting the City of Love to the rest of the Philippines and beyond.
