SEMIRARA ISLAND, Caluya, Antique — A group of content creators from Panay Island conducted a week-long tourism documentation in Semirara Island from December 1 to 8, 2025, in line with the opening of the Semirara Coal Festival 2025.
The collaboration with PANAY MASTERS, a group of vloggers and content creators from Iloilo, Guimaras, Antique, and Aklan, featured the island’s culture, natural attractions, and community-based activities. The initiative was carried out in partnership with Semirara Mining and Power Corporation (SMPC) and the Barangay Semirara Local Government Unit.

During the visit, the vloggers documented key tourism sites across Semirara Island, including Sibutong Beach, Unong Lake, the SMPC Bird Aviary, and coastal areas known locally for giant clams and rich marine life. Environmental and cultural activities such as mangrove planting and community visits were also included, along with highlights of the Coal Festival, which featured live performances and a fireworks display. The group also experienced a double-decker bus tour, interacted with monster trucks, and accessed SMPC-managed facilities, including a sports complex and an indoor swimming pool.

Content output
After the activity, the vloggers prepared tourism-related videos and social media content for the Barangay Local Government Unit and SMPC Tourism. The published materials were shared on their respective Facebook pages, where several posts recorded strong audience engagement.
Organizers said the collaboration aimed to support tourism promotion, document community activities, and help present Semirara Island as a destination with natural, cultural, and recreational value alongside its industrial role.
