
MIAGAO, Iloilo — Tribu Kirayanon was declared Champion of the Salakayan Festival 2026 following the official announcement of winners during the grand showdown held in front of the Miagao Municipal Hall.
Representing Kirayan National High School, Tribu Kirayanon impressed judges and spectators with a performance deeply rooted in Miagao’s heritage, discipline, and strong cultural storytelling, earning top marks in both technical execution and overall performance.
Placing First Runner-Up was Tribu Baklayanon of Supt. Arsenio M. Napud Memorial National High School, while Tribu Tabun-ak, representing Palaca-Damilisan National High School, secured the Second Runner-Up position.
