Starting as a local tour guide in Igbaras, Elmaguin honed his skills on the rugged trails of his hometown before rising to the international stage. Competing against elite ultrarunners from across Asia, he demonstrated remarkable endurance, strategy, and mental toughness to secure the top podium spot.
