Sand Bar Island, Concepcion, Iloilo.
Early in the morning I and my co-workers packed for our Sand Bar experience in Concepcion Iloilo. We took a ride at Ceres Bus Terminal to Concepcion. After 3 hours of travel, untiringly, we reached the Municipality of Concepcion. We first look for the Tourism Office and ask for the assistance. Their friendly Tourism officer provided us a boat for our service to Sand Bar Island. Unluckily the PHP 2,000.00 boat fee is quite expensive for the four of us. We agreed to have our breakfast for a while at Concepcion Market Food Court and we decided to look for a smaller boat for cheaper price.Unexpectedly, the Tourism officer called us that there is someone who would like to join us at the Sand Bar Island. “Sir, The boat is already waiting at the pier” he added.
After 10 minutes of travel, the wave is getting bigger and seems the sea is mad. Nervous yet I courageously conquered my fear. Finally, this is it, we reached the beautiful Sand Bar Island. The white fine sand of the Sand Bar Island is now touching my feet.
I and my friends excitingly enjoyed the beach. The wind blew so relaxing while the sea waves peacefully. At last, I found inner peace.
The owner of Sand Bar Island offered us a fresh and newly caught fish. We requested to grill the fish for our lunch.
At 3 pm while the wave is getting bigger, we decided to go home earlier. We leave the Island with unforgettable memories and another fun experience. Thanks God, Despite of the huge wave, we went home safely.
