Yobab’s Statement
In a follow-up video posted June 7, 2025, Yobab apologized for the unintended consequences of her critique, emphasizing that she never sought to disparage the barista or call for the establishment’s closure. “I acknowledge that I should have elaborated on my feedback. My intention was not to hurt anyone,” she said. “It was an honest opinion—hindi talaga ako nasasarapan [I genuinely didn’t enjoy it]—but I realize now how my words could be misinterpreted.”
