Cebu Pacific now offers a direct flight between Iloilo International Airport (ILO) and Hong Kong International Airport (HKG). The route launched in late 2024, and flight times are built for easy day‑trippers and longer stays alike:

- Flight 5J 242 Iloilo → Hong Kong: Departs ILO at 10:45, arrives HKG at 01:35
- Flight 5J 243 Hong Kong → Iloilo: Departs HKG at 02:20, arrives ILO at 05:05
- Flights Frequency → Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday (4x per week)

This non‑stop service cuts travel time to just under 3 hours, so you can maximize every minute of your trip. Here’s how I spent six days exploring Hong Kong last March 2025:
Day 1: Arrival, The Peak & Victoria Harbour
We arrived in the morning and checked in at Eaton HK, a stylish hotel in Jordan, Kowloon. It’s near MTR stations, which made getting around the city easier.
That same day, we visited two iconic spots:

- Victoria Peak – Rode the Peak Tram to Sky Terrace 428 for panoramic skyline views.

- Victoria Harbour – Walked along the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade to enjoy the city lights and take night photos.
Day 2: Ngong Ping Cable Car & Village + Harbour Night Cruise

We began Day 2 with a scenic trip to Ngong Ping Village on Lantau Island.

We rode the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, which gave us amazing views of the sea, mountains, and airport.

- Explored Ngong Ping Village

- Saw the Big Buddha (Tian Tan Buddha) and had snacks from local stalls
In the evening, we returned to Kowloon:

- Star Ferry ride across Victoria Harbour — relaxing and scenic
- Symphony of Lights — watched the light show from the harbor
Day 3: Hong Kong Disneyland

This day was all about Hong Kong Disneyland — one of the most fun and magical places in Asia. We spent the whole day exploring:
- Rides in Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland
- Disney and Pixar character encounters
- The parade and fireworks show in the evening

Disneyland brought out our inner kids — lots of walking, but worth every step.
Day 4: Ocean Park & Hong Kong Park

We started the morning at Ocean Park, a large theme park with both marine animals and thrill rides.
- Saw sea lions, Penguins, pandas, and jellyfish
- Rode the scenic cable car across the cliffs

After Ocean Park, we visited Hong Kong Park for some downtime. The green spaces and aviary were peaceful and refreshing after a busy morning.
Day 5: Ocean Terminal Deck & Mong Kok
This was our chill day. We explored:

- Ocean Terminal Deck – Located at Harbour City Mall, this rooftop spot has great views of the skyline and water.

- Mong Kok – Walked through Ladies’ Market, tried local snacks, and did last-minute souvenir shopping.
It was a nice mix of sightseeing and shopping before heading home.
Day 6: Return to Iloilo

We had our last Dinner in Hong Kong, then made our way to the airport for our early morning flight back to Iloilo. The Cebu Pacific flight was on time and smooth — just under 3 hours and we were home.
Hong Kong Trip

This 6-day Hong Kong trip was filled with adventure, city views, and unforgettable memories. From the fun of Disneyland to the peaceful Ngong Ping mountains, every day offered something new. Having a direct, well‑timed flight from Iloilo made everything more convenient—no layovers, no stress.
Special thanks to Cebu Pacific and the Hong Kong Tourism Board for making this journey possible.
