It takes a stronger heart to conquer the summit of this mountain 💪. Overcome your fears in height through the sliced like cliff and sharp ridges of  Mt. Igcoron. Enjoy the panoramic view and thrilling experience.

Note: Stronger wind during “ber” months will make your hike more difficult. 

🌟P.S. Just a little advice: If you are afraid to fall, just never look down 😂. What I did just to reach the summit of Mt. Igcoron? I crawled. Sorry po, malakas lang talaga ang hangin that time. 😂😂😅

🔎Why is it named Igcoron?

According to the story of the elders of Valderrama, long time ago the municipality of Valderrama was devastated by a high level of flood. There is nothing visible arround except the peak of Mt. Igcoron that looks like a pot (locally known as Koron/Coron) floating in the flooded community. While some says that probably Mt. Igcoron came from the word cogon/kogon because of the cogon grass that is present around.
🚩How to get there in Mt. Igcoron?

🔽Valderrama Antique can be reached from Iloilo City or from Aklan

1. From Iloilo City Molo Terminal 🚖
➡take bus or va ride bound to the Northern part of Antique and tell the driver or conductor to drop you at crossing Ilaures. But I suggest to to take a ride through Van for faster travel time. Travel time is about 3 hours.
2. From Crossing Ilaures🚦
➡Take a Habal-Habal (Motorcycle) ride.
Note: For cheaper fare, take a tricycle ride bound to Valderrama Proper.
➡Tell the driver to drop you at the Police station to register for your safety.
3. From Valderrama Proper🚀
➡Take a habal-habal ride going to Baranggay Binanogan.🚴
4. At Barangay Binanogan there is available tour guide there to cater your hike.🚶
