Lipunto’s Peak is a rock formation located at the top of Barangay Patlabawon.

Aside of the rock formations of Lipunto’s Peak, there are two more rock formations at Sitio Catmon. They all have the same features.

Our itinerary started from Sitio Catmon where we were assisted by the local officials to hike Lipunto’s.

We traverse the crystal clear water river of Baldoza where water seemsto comee from the big rock.

Then, we went to the ridges of Patlabawon. The tall cogon grasses were blocking our way. Patlabawon ridges

The rock formation in Lipunto was covered by the tall trees. Its cave was covered by a stone wall.

🔎How to get to Lipunto’s Peak
The Municipality of Patnongon can be reached through bus or van via Aklan or San Jose Antique route.
1. Iloilo City
↘Take a bus or van ride at Molo Terminal for 2-3 hours bound to the town of Patnongon, Antique. Fare: Php150 (aircon)
2. Patnongon Town
↘Hire habal-habal (Motorcycle) bound to Barangay Patlabawon. Fare: Php30/person
3. Patlabawon
↘Ask for the assistance of the Barangay officials. Tell them that you will hike Lipunto.
☝Note: At the moment, they don’t have a tour guide, but you can request. Just give them any amount. No entrance fee.
Total expenses: Php500. Inclusive of round trip fare from Iloilo City, meal and tour guiding fee.
