Guide to Mt. Agua Colonia and Bato Dungok – Prepare for your first breathtaking adventure 😀💪

I am pretty much sure you will love the exciting and thrilling experience of 3 to 4 hours trek and hike to the summit of Mt. Agua Colonia. Adding to the excitement and thrills are the challenge of its hiking adventure over the rocky and sloppy trail while passing through the dense and mossy forest of Mt. Agua Colonia.

🔎So, how to get there?
1. If you are from Iloilo City
▶Take a jeepney ride at Jaro Big Market (Scheduled every hour) going to the Municipality of Alimodian for one hour.🚌
2. If you are already in Alimodian
▶look for the tourism office and secure a permit to hike on Mt. Agua Colonia (It is mandatory for your safety). The Municipal officer will coordinate to Brgy. Lico for your safety.💡
▶Look for a Motorcycle (habal2x) bound to seven cities, particularly to Brgy. Lico (almost two hours of trip). The fare is negotiable at Php500/Motorcycle for one way. P.S. Actually, we closed a deal at Php250/Motorcycle 😀. Note: bad road condition and even worse during rainy season.
3. At Baranggay Lico
▶look for any Baranggay officials. They will provide you a tour guide. They don’t demand for a tour guiding fee (but in our case we pay Php500/tour guide) 😀.
